Welcome to The Sweet Squeeze Stop, where every cup is served with purpose, perseverance, and a whole lot of flavor.
I'm Ree Smith-Marrero, the co-founder of The Sweet Squeeze Stop. By day, I'm a school bus driver, helping safely transport students to and from school. Like many school employees, summer break meant a season with little to no income. Instead of seeing that as a setback, I saw it as an opportunity.
What started as a simple idea to sell fresh-squeezed lemonade during the summer months quickly grew into something much bigger than I ever imagined.
Armed with determination, a willingness to learn, and the support of my husband Alex, we began serving lemonade at local events, festivals, and community gatherings throughout North Carolina. We didn't start with a fancy trailer or a large operation. We started with a vision, hard work, and a belief that small beginnings can lead to big opportunities.
As the business grew, so did our mission. We realized we weren't just selling lemonade, we were creating experiences. From the smiles on customers' faces to the conversations shared across our counter, every event became an opportunity to bring people together.
Today, The Sweet Squeeze Stop serves fresh-squeezed lemonade at festivals, private events, corporate gatherings, weddings, school functions, and community celebrations. Every drink is made with care, quality ingredients, and the same passion that inspired us from day one.
Our story is proof that your circumstances don't define your future. What began as a way to earn extra income during the summer has become a growing family business built on faith, hard work, community, and the courage to take a chance on a dream.
We're grateful for every customer, every event organizer, and every opportunity we've been given along the way. Whether you're stopping by our tent at a festival or inviting us to be part of your special event, we're honored to serve you.
Thank you for being part of our journey.
